La Mercé Barcelona

La Mercé is the biggest and most important festivity of Barcelona, lasting for about one week around the 24th of September (exact dates and itineraries will only be announced a few weeks before the actual start). Uncountable events ranging from concerts, to markets, to parades, to fire shows, to the famous Castellers (Human Towers), etc. can be found during that event where the whole city, from young to old, from locals to tourists, is participating. The big final is a grandiose, spectacular and probably the biggest firework of Barcelona.
