Noguera Pallaresa

Llavorsi

In fact, this region is a good place to start for beginners, as they have plenty of easier routes for novices.

 

Costa Brava

Leaving Barcelona just an hour behind you, you can find the stretch of coastline known as the Costa Brava. Here not only can you find a multitude of water sports, such as sailing, jet skiing and wakeboarding, but also bungee jumping. There are plenty of places to jump from up high, especially in the largest coastal resorts. Even if you decide not to jump yourself, watching others do it can be just as much of an adventure sport in itself.

The city of Barcelona is also one of the most popular places to try adventure sports around Catalonia. It is not exactly an adventure sport, but you can give rowing a go in Parc de la Ciutadella. But if this is far too tranquil for your tastes, grab a skateboard and join in with the cool crowd outside Museu d’Art Contemporani de Barcelona. This is the most popular spot to skateboard in the city and it is impossible not to want to join in. The Montjuic area also has plenty of amenities and is one of the best places to try adventure sports around Catalonia.
