Sailing World Championships in Santander, 8.-21. September

The International Sailing Federation (ISAF) organizes the ISAF Sailing World Championships about every four years and this year it takes place in Santander. At the same time it is the first qualifying round for the Summer Olympics in Brazil, giving the event quite some importance. The event takes place from the 8^th until the 21^st of September and shows all Olympic Sailing Disciplines. The last championships were held in Cadiz (2003), Cascais (Portugal, 2007), and Perth (2011).
